Cheap (or Free!) Date Night Ideas in Atlanta
We love Atlanta, but we don't always love what it can do to our wallets. We recently asked our team members to share their favorite cheap (or even free!) date night ideas in Atlanta.
Here’s what they had to say:
Andy, Canopy Marketing
Rent a bike or scooter and explore the Eastside Trail of the BeltLine. There are too many places you can stop along the way, like the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park, New Realm Brewing rooftop, PCM, Inman Perk for coffee… the list goes on! You could end the ride with dinner from one of the tasty stands inside Krog Street Market.
Betsy, Canopy Gatherings
The Atlanta Botanical Gardens followed by a picnic in Piedmont Park or Fernbank After Dark. Both provide opportunities to see and explore the city in a niche way. You can walk and not feel stuck at a table, and then do something light for food. I personally don’t like being stuck during a date, so I hate just dinners or movies!
Kristen, Canopy Gatherings
I love walking around the Decatur City Square. It’s fun to see a small show at Eddie’s Attic, or get a popsicle from Steel City Pops and pop into the cute shops around the Square. And, of course, sunsets are always free!
Next time you’re planning a date night, you don’t have to break the bank. There are plenty of fun things to do around Atlanta that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Which one will you try out next?
